How PetzName handles information when you visit the site and use the pet name generator.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Information you provide
When you generate names, you may share a pet type, optional gender, naming styles, keywords, and a short story. We use these details to provide the requested suggestions. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, precise addresses, financial details, health information, or information about another person.
AI name generation
Your request is sent to our language-model service provider so it can create six names and their meanings. The information is used to fulfill your request, not to create a PetzName account or public profile. Name ideas may be generated automatically and should be reviewed by you before use.
Cookies and security checks
We use limited technical storage and cookies to keep the service secure, remember a recent verification, prevent abuse, and support basic functionality. Cloudflare Turnstile may process browser and device signals for security verification.
Advertising
We may display Google AdSense advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and personalize ads where permitted by applicable settings and law. You can manage Google ad personalization in your Google account or through the controls shown in your region.
Service providers and retention
We use hosting, security, AI, and advertising providers to operate PetzName. They receive only the information needed for their role. We do not ask you to create an account, and you can use the generator without submitting your name or email address.
Your choices and rights
You may choose not to enter optional story details, clear your browser data, or stop using the service. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. Contact us at hello@petzname.com and tell us enough about your request for us to respond.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows when the latest version was published.
